Introduction

Policies are a core component of TRASAGATE, transforming it from a simple directory of user and service profiles into a robust access control system. Policies define the rules and conditions under which a user can access a service.

TRASAGATE supports two main types of policies:

  1. Basic Policy:

    • Includes time and location-based controls.
    • Manages two-factor authentication (2FA) requirements.
    • Offers options for session recording and file transfer permissions.

  2. Device Hygiene Policy:

    • Controls access based on the security hygiene of user devices.
