Accessing Web Services via TRASAGATE

To securely access HTTP services through TRASAGATE, follow the steps below to complete the initial setup.

Step 1: Install TRASAGATE Browser Extension

The first step is to install the TRASAGATE browser extension, which is necessary for managing secure connections to your web services.

Step 2: Install TRASAGATE Device Agent

Next, you need to install the TRASAGATE device agent, which ensures that your device meets the required security standards for accessing services.

Step 3: Configure the Browser Extension

Once both the browser extension and device agent are installed, follow these steps to configure the extension:

  1. Click the Extension Icon: Open your browser and click on the TRASAGATE extension icon in the toolbar.
  2. Enter Credentials: Enter your registered email address.
  3. Enter TOTP Code: Input the Time-Based One-Time Password (TOTP) code generated by your authenticator app.

Accessing the Web Service

After completing the setup, you can easily access the HTTP service:

  • Enter the URL: Simply type the desired URL into your browser’s address bar.
  • Second-Factor Authentication: If configured, you may be prompted to complete a second-factor authentication step.

By following these steps, you can securely access your web services through TRASAGATE, with all connections managed and monitored according to your organization’s security policies.
